Approach
Understand first, then write.
The success of a software project is usually decided before the first line of code. Enso Yazılım runs every engagement through the same five steps; their weight changes from project to project, their order does not.
Process
Five steps, one line.
- 1
Discovery
We listen to your processes, your users and your existing systems, and put the goal and scope in writing.
We talk to the people who do the work, look at the current screens and spreadsheets, and lay out today’s flow step by step. We make clear what will not be built as well as what will.
- Output
- Scope document, priorities, timeline and proposal
- 2
Design
We review and agree the screen flows and the technical architecture together before any code is written.
We draw the path a user will take screen by screen and test it with a clickable prototype. In parallel we design the data model, the integration points and the infrastructure.
- Output
- Approved screen designs and technical design
- 3
Development
We deliver working versions at short intervals, test at every delivery and feed what we learn into the next.
We split the work into small, deliverable pieces. Each piece goes through code review and testing, and you follow progress from the working product rather than from a report.
- Output
- A version you can try at the end of every cycle
- 4
Launch
We plan the go-live, migrate the data, train your team and stay close during the first days.
We rehearse the cut-over day, the data transfer and the rollback plan in advance. We prepare training and short guides so people can use the system on day one.
- Output
- Live system, migrated data, trained users
- 5
Maintenance and growth
We monitor and update the system, and develop it further as your business changes.
Launch is not an ending; it is when the software meets real use. We watch performance and errors, apply security updates and queue up new needs.
- Output
- Regular updates and a development plan
Engagement models
Three models, depending on the work.
Not every engagement fits the same contract. We decide together during discovery which model is right.
- A
Fixed project
For work whose scope can be pinned down. Scope, timeline and price are set up front; delivery is split into stages.
- B
Ongoing team
For open-ended or continuously evolving products. A team allocated to you works to priorities set with you each cycle.
- C
Maintenance and support
For systems in production. Monitoring, updates, fixes and small improvements run under a standing agreement.
Principles
What stays the same on every project.
- 01
Understand first
Before writing code we learn how the work actually gets done and who needs what. Solving the wrong problem well is the most expensive mistake.
- 02
Simple lasts
Every feature is something to maintain. We build the leanest solution that meets the need and add the rest when it is called for.
- 03
Visible progress
We do not disappear for months. You see a working version at regular intervals and we adjust course together.
- 04
Plain speaking
If something will be late, go over budget or should not be built at all, we are the first to say so.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
What do you need from us before a project starts?
A contact who knows the work well, and examples that show how the current process runs: the spreadsheets, forms and screenshots in use. You do not need to prepare a technical specification; we write the scope together.
How do we follow progress during the project?
At the end of each delivery cycle we review the working version together. In between, we share regular status updates covering what was done, what is next and what is open.
What happens if the scope changes during the project?
Change is normal. We assess a new request together with its effect on time and cost; it either replaces an existing item or moves to a later stage. The decision is yours.
Let’s talk about what you have in mind.
Describe what you need in a few sentences, and we will work out together what kind of solution fits and how long it would take.
